As you drive north from Santa Fe on Highway 285/84 into the heart of the Land of Enchantment, you will be passing by Camel Rock and while you are enjoying Northern New Mexico's indescribable scenery, you are approaching the town of Pojoaque, an exceptional area in New Mexico at its cultural and historical finest!
Once in Pojoaque, you will want to eat where the locals dine: the “Roadrunner Café” located in the heart of town at 43 Ogo Wii (Just off U.S. Highway 285/84). The Roadrunner Café welcomes all diners from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Authentic Northern New Mexico cuisine is served throughout the day, as is an ample breakfast menu. Drop by to say "Hello," and enjoy a New Mexican breakfast or lunch. We serve soups, sandwiches, salads and our legendary New Mexican combo dish. The meals are prepared fresh daily in our traditional old-fashioned way.
Since 1980, the Roadrunner Café has been owned and operated by Lorraine and Ben Montoya and their daughters. Their family tree took root in this area in the 1600s, providing a time-honored and established standard for traditional foods, popularly served with Lorraine's mouthwatering whole wheat sopaipillas. Favorite desserts include homemade fruit pies, among others.
Welcome to our enchanted land, our cordial community, and to the Roadrunner Café -- the center of dining excellence in this part of the world.
